GLAM/GORE MAKEUP APPLICATION

Begin with a clean and moisturized face.

GLAM APPLICATION

The Eyes:

1. Prime the eyelid with an eye primer. Use a translucent set powder or an eye shadow powder to set the primer.
2. Apply the powder eye shadows: Use a mid-tone from the lash line to the contour of the eyelid.
3. Select a darker tone to apply to the contour of the eye.
4. Apply a light tone under the arch of the brow and sometimes also in the corner of the eye.
5. Line the upper lash line and “marry” it into the crease.
6. Apply mascara.
7. Apply false lashes.
Products: Cinema Secrets Eye Base, “First” by Make Up First ® Pro Eye-Shadow Palette, Eve Pearl Liquid Liner, Callas Latex-Free Lash Glue, ModelRock False Eyelashes, “First” by Make Up First ® Mascara

The Face: Foundation

1. Apply a foundation to one half of the face.

The Cheeks: Blush

1. Apply the blush color directly on the cheekbone; you may wish to sculpt underneath the blush by using a contouring powder.
Products: Mehron Blush Palette

The Lips:

1. Be sure that the lips are not dry and chapped. Prep the lips with a Rosebud Salve.
2. Line the lip and fill in the entire lip with a lip pencil.
3. Apply the lipstick and complete the look with a clear or pigmented gloss.
Products: OCC Lip Pencil “Anime,” ModelRock Liquid Lipstick “Planet 22”

GORE APPLICATION: If at any point, you feel uncomfortable, itchy, burning, or tingling, please remove all of the makeup.

1. To create a burn, mix ½ a packet of KNOX gelatin and a teaspoon of oats or grits (this will add texture) with a Tablespoon of water. Mix until the ingredients are an applesauceconsistency.
2. With a spoon, start to layer on the face (avoid the eye, and the hairline). The more sheer the better, as this will allow the mixture to dry faster. Best if you use a blow-dryer (cold air only) to help the mixture dry. This process can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes, depending on how many layers you use. Optional: Teeth. You can use fake nails and apply the teeth on the mouth and side of the face in an upward direction. You can glue them on with a latex free eyelash glue (Callas), or add them while the gelatin mixture is setting.
3. Now, with a sponge or brush, take your cream theatrical makeup and mix the color with glycerin to create a watercolor consistency. Start with a sheer base of red. Be sure to keep the product uneven and layer more red and burgundy in some of the flatter surfaces to create depth.
4. For the eye area, using the dark purple cream, paint over the eyelid, working downward around the eye. With black powder, set the cream to create a more dimensional, hollow eye.
5. Add stage blood.
Products: Knox Gelatin, Grits/Oatmeal, Glycerin, False Nails, Callas Latex-Free Lash Glue, Mehron Bruise Wheel, Mehron Stipple Sponge, Mehron Instense Black Eye-Shadow, Mehron Stage Blood, Cetaphil Cold Cream

Removal:

Most likely, you can peel most of the gelatin mixture off of your face when you are ready to take it off. For the remaining bits and makeup, use cold cream. Simply rub it in, as you would with face wash. Then, using a towel or tissue, wipe the cream away.

SNAPCHAT FILTER – DEER MAKEUP APPLICATION

Begin with a clean and moisturized face.

The Face: Foundation

1. Apply liquid or cream; choose your natural foundation color and conceal, as needed.
2. With a foundation shade 2-3 shades darker than your natural skin tone, and a synthetic brush, create a curve-shape starting from the middle of your left eyebrow to the middle of your right eyebrow. Fill in this shape with the darker foundation color.
3. With a pointed swab or q-tip and makeup remover, wipe away where you want to add your white fur marks; with a clean synthetic brush, fill in the spaces with white theatrical cream makeup. To set this makeup, use a translucent powder and a powder puff.
3. Now, with the darker foundation color, fill in between your eyebrows and fill in the top portion of your nose (bridge only). Powder to set.
4. With a white eyeliner pencil draw the white nose (it looks like a bell). Before you fill the area in with white; take a black eyeliner pencil and draw the deer nose (heart-shape) on and underneath the nose. Fill in with black cream and then set with a black eyeshadow. Once you are happy with the nose, fill in the white fur patch with white theatrical cream makeup. Set this product with a small fluffy brush and white eyeshadow.
Products: Becca Ultimate Coverage Foundation (Porcelain) + Cinema Secrets Ultra-Translucent Setting Powder *Mehron Paint Stick (White)

The Eyes:

1. Place a neutral eyeshadow color on your entire lid.

3. For under the eye, using the white or nude eyeliner pencil you will want to fill in your water line, making your eyes look bigger.
4. Curl the Lashes.
5. Apply mascara.
6. OPTIONAL: Apply false lashes.

HARLEY QUINN – MAKEUP APPLICATION

Begin with a clean and moisturized face.

The Face: Foundation

Select a foundation for use on the entire face; the foundation selected should be significantly lighter or even white* for this look. Add a light layer of translucent setting powder.
Products: Becca Ultimate Coverage Foundation (Porcelain) + Cinema Secrets Ultra-Translucent Setting Powder *Mehron Paint Stick (White)

The Eyes:

1. For one eye, use a pink/red pressed eyeshadow powder. With a fluffy brush, place the color on your lid. With your finger or brush drag the shadow outwards down the cheek, under the eye. Remember, you want this to be a smeared makeup look. It’s okay to be playful and messy!
2. Using the steps above, do this on the other eye with a selected pressed powder blue eyeshadow.
3. With a black pressed eye-shadow, line the upper lash line and “marry” it into the crease. To create a smoky effect. Line the lower lash line with a black pencil or black liquid liner. Again, take a smaller, pointed brush with black eyeshadow, and smudge the lower lash line.
4. Curl the Lashes.
5. Apply mascara.
6. OPTIONAL: Apply false lashes.
Products: INGLOT Eyeshadows: Red (Eyeshadow #382) + Red (Blush #66), Blue (Eyeshadow #321) + (Eyeshadow #371), Black (Eyeshadow 391), Kevyn Aucoin Pencil Liner in Black, Eve Pearl Liquid Eyeliner, False Lashes: Monda (#75 bottom, #113 top)

Tattoo Accents:

1. With a black liquid eyeliner, black theatrical cream makeup, or black eyeshadow draw a heart under one of your eyes.
Optional: With the same technique, you can choose to write in Harley’s tattoo, “ROTTEN” on the same side as the heart. It is located on the jaw line.
Products: Eve Pearl Liquid Liner in Black, Mehron Intense Black Eyeshadow

The Lips:

1. Line the lip with red lip liner. Then fill in the entire lip with the lip pencil.
2. Apply a red lipstick.
3. Optional: Again, for the messy-dirty look, smear the lipstick outwards.
Products: Kevyn Aucoin Lip Pencil (Cerise) and Kevyn Aucoin – The Matte Lip Color Lipstick (Eternal), Rosebud Salve
